Shabbat Service

According to the Torah, Shabbat commemorates the day that God rested from creating the world The word Shabbat literally means “he rested.”

Exodus 34:21 states: “Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest.”  Shabbat is considered a day of peace and holiness.

Shabbat for us here at Go2Church is a time to gather and learn about our Jewish heritage - after all, Jesus was a Jew!  "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." -George Santayana

Shabbat services have ended for the semester and will begin again in the fall.
